By accessing or using EdgeBaz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the platform.

EdgeBaz is an escrow-based marketplace that connects buyers and suppliers across Africa. EdgeBaz facilitates transactions but is not the manufacturer, owner, or direct supplier of products listed by independent suppliers. We partner with trusted third parties, including Flutterwave for payments and Shipbubble for logistics.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and passwords. You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.

Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that products listed on EdgeBaz are legal, accurately described, and available for delivery. Suppliers must fulfill orders promptly and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Important: EdgeBaz does not provide physical packaging materials (boxes, envelopes, or flyers). Suppliers must securely package their products to match the exact dimensions entered or selected on the platform.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing product information before making a purchase and providing accurate delivery details. Buyers must use the platform honestly and refrain from fraudulent activities.

Payments made through EdgeBaz are securely processed via our payment partner, Flutterwave. Funds are held temporarily through our escrow process until transaction requirements (e.g., delivery confirmation) are met. This system is designed to protect both buyers and suppliers and reduce fraudulent activity.

EdgeBaz has partnered with Shipbubble to provide in-app delivery booking and real-time tracking. Delivery fees are calculated based on product weight, volumetric dimensions, and the delivery category selected by the supplier.

Local orders within Nigeria and international orders may follow different fulfillment workflows and delivery timelines.

EdgeBaz applies a tiered commission rate on successfully completed transactions. Payment processing and supplier withdrawals are handled by third-party financial service providers (Flutterwave). EdgeBaz reserves the right to delay or suspend payouts where fraud, disputes, verification issues, or legal concerns are detected.

Users may not engage in fraud, impersonation, money laundering, unlawful transactions, abuse of the platform, attempts to bypass escrow or delivery systems, or any activity that harms other users or EdgeBaz.

EdgeBaz may assist in resolving disputes between buyers and suppliers. Decisions made during dispute investigations may consider transaction records, communication history, proof of delivery (via Shipbubble tracking), and other relevant evidence.

EdgeBaz reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in suspicious activities, or pose risks to the platform or its users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeBaz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Users assume responsibility for their marketplace activities.

EdgeBaz may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.
